Although I'm not a fan of the mayor or his chosen police chief it seems to me that all the attacks made on them because of the crime rate are really unfair. Neither one of them has anything whatsoever to do with the violence. The gangbangers are bold and don't care about who the mayor might be or even know his name. The mayor makes his appearance at all the useless anti-violence rallies and gives the usual soul-searching speeches. The ones organizing them probably are looking for anti-violence grant money. They should put the blame squarely where it belongs and that's on those doing it. Everything else is just cargo-cult thinking. They think Superman should swoop in and solve all their problems. There is no magic wand that can wave it all away. They need to stop scapegoating and blaming others.
Just when is rioting, disorder, and attacks on the public by organized "youths" not been national news? When it's blacks doing their usual thing. Lawlessness. In the news it said the gangs came looking for a fight. These people use their cellphones and social media to organize these riots and that is a federal offense. Where is Eric "my people" Holder.

Hard to believe, but once again a mob of 'youths' has rioted in Ft Lauderdale. Not a peep in national media and only a buried lead locally.
