  1. Previously there was the awarding of the MoH to the Japanese-Americans. NOW for Jews and also "Hispanics".

From seventy years ago in some cases trying to reconstruct and document what occurred seems a big job that can NEVER be done right.

Well, I guess everyone should be happy now. But I am sure they are not.

  2. The Nation Defense Service medal is awarded to each military man, regardless of what you have done.

A medal specifically designed to so that EVERYONE could have a medal of some sort.

It was not considered fair that some soldiers had a medal and others did not.

Such is the mentality of awarding decorations in some cases.

  3. Since the end of the Vietnam War, at least to my knowledge, there have been NO MoH awarded to anyone other than whitey soldiers.

I am sure fifty years from now, there will be an investigation.

Standards for awarding the MoH have become much more strict.

  4. For those of you that are interested, you might want to Google the case of David Rubitsky. Just passed away recently. Most vociferous in his claims of TWICE having performed extraordinary heroics that should have been eligible for the MoH. And was denied as he was Jewish. So said David. I will say no more.
