AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A conservative student group announced Monday they will play a "Catch an Illegal Immigrant Game" this week on the University of Texas at Austin, drawing condemnation from Democrats and a threat of expulsion from campus officials….
Of course conservatives have no one to blame but themselves.
For they are the ones who voted for the anti-white asshole known as George Bush. It was Bush who was behind the so-called Texas Top Ten Percent law.
The law was written solely for the purposes of giving race-based preferences to Mexicans and blacks. This law puts third rate high schools in the ‘hood and barrio on equal footing with first rate suburban high schools in Houston, Austin and Dallas.
For example, kids score points for being bilingual or for being the first in their family to attend university. Now, who the Hell is bilingual in Texas other than Third World immigrants, most of whom are Mexicans? And being the first in their family to attend university? How about the first in their family to finish high school? There are millions in Mexico who have never even finished the sixth grade; their dimwitted American (sic) offspring are attending UT Austin on mariachi scholarships.
Yet no mention is ever made of the standardized test scores of these Mexicans. It's because they do so poorly on average on standardized tests. Ditto blacks who attend UT Austin. [N.S.: Some people don’t test well.]
I could go on and on and on. Read the law yourself.
[N.S.: Once upon a time, when Nat Hentoff still cared about civil liberties, he would have jumped all over this.
At the Houston Chronicle, I posted the following comment:
The First Amendment takes precedence over UT’s “Honor Code.” By the way, UT officials forget all about the Honor Code, when it comes to racist black, Hispanic, and Asian students racially terrorizing their white classmates, with the help of campus newspaper and university personnel co-conspirators. I wrote a series of two reports and one blog article for VDARE on just such issues a year ago:
