Port Huron, MI: Knoxville Horror-Style Atrocity by Yet Another Beneficiary of Criminal Justice Affirmative Action

One of the buddies who has sent me information on this case wrote,

"No Safe Places Dept."

[Suspect Manuel F.] Gamez was convicted of home invasion and sentenced in 2006 to serve up to 15 years in prison, the Times Herald reported. It said he was freed on parole in December 2010.

In the previous case, Gamez broke into a Port Huron home in the middle of the night and tried to strangle and suffocate a woman with a pillow, Keyes said. She said the woman managed to escape.

So, this mope had previously committed home invasion and attempted murder—i.e., good for 20 or more years—but only served a lousy four years?

The AP report say nothing of Gamez' citizenship status, much less whether he was a beneficiary of a previous illegal alien invader amnesty.

Note that there is no mention of him stealing anything in either case. It sounds like he just likes to break into people's homes and rape and murder them. These may be also be racially motivated hate crimes, though you'll never hear the authorities or the press say a word about that.

Gamez was instantly nominated for yet more criminal justice AA: He hasn't even been indicted, and yet his future jury has been given the option of convicting him of only Murder Two.

Note that Knoxville Horror ringleader Lemaricus Davidson, presently on death row in Tennessee was previously convicted of carjacking and aggravated robbery, which could have gotten him life, but he was released after a lousy five years. Like Davidson, Gamez should still have been in prison at the time of the atrocity.

PORT HURON, Mich. (AP) — A paroled ex-convict has been charged with rape, torture and murder in the deaths of a couple at an apartment complex, Port Huron police said Tuesday.

Manuel F. Gamez, 31, of Port Huron, was arraigned Tuesday on two open counts of murder, two counts of torture and one count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, Capt. Jeff Baker said in a statement. Open murder charge means a defendant faces either a first- or a second-degree murder charge.

Officers found the bodies of Daniel McRoberts, 29, and Melissa Ichenberg, 26, on July 30 at the Gratiot Village apartments, police said.

Assistant Prosecutor Melissa Keyes called the killings "brutal and sadistic." McRoberts was stabbed more than 50 times, Keyes said, while Ichenberg was strangled.

Gamez is "certainly a threat to this community and, quite frankly, any community," Keyes said.

A judge ordered Gamez held without bail. His preliminary examination is Aug. 20.

Police said they didn't don't know if he had a lawyer.

Gamez was convicted of home invasion and sentenced in 2006 to serve up to 15 years in prison, the Times Herald reported. It said he was freed on parole in December 2010.

In the previous case, Gamez broke into a Port Huron home in the middle of the night and tried to strangle and suffocate a woman with a pillow, Keyes said. She said the woman managed to escape.

EDITOR'S NOTE: Port Huron police are asking anyone with information about the deaths to call investigators at 810-984-9711 or 810-987-6688.

  2. I've known him since we were teenagers, yes, he's an American been citizen, and this is all so unreal, he never showed any signs of this kind of violence. The second incident and killings were two drug addicts...guarantee that has something to do with it
