DALLAS — Dallas police say they have made an arrest in connection with the death of a well-known local book reviewer.
Gary Anthony Sanders, 40, has been charged with burglarizing the home of 73-year-old Penny Terk, and he is said to be a "person of interest" in her homicide. [N.S.: "Person of interest" is a law enforcement and criminal justice euphemism for suspect.]
Terk was found dead in her ransacked Oak Cliff home on Friday afternoon after her daughter became concerned about her welfare.
Detectives said they are continuing to pursue other leads in this investigation.
As I write, I couldn't find anything on Google about this murder. You might say this is what happens without a neighborhood watch.

ReplyDeleteThere's probably a gang of blond, blue-eyed illegal alien Swedes on the loose. No telling how violent they can be.
Sad loss to the community. She will be missed tremendously. Miss her smile and friendly face.
