It may be back. Google/blogger has had a habit recently of robo-deleting blogs, which seems to disproportionately effect blogs of a particular political view. The robo-deletes are triggered, it appears by coordinated attacks (via submitted complaints to Blogger).
GatesofVienna recently left Blogger after getting taken down twice in a week.
It's not coming back, he took it down himself for personal reasons and made a post to that effect before deleting it. I don't know the guy personally, but reading his blog for a long time, I got the impression that the constant stream of doom, gloom and depravity was starting to get him down, he didn't want to spend so much time up to his eyeballs in negativity. I still don't see why he had to delete it, he could have just left it up and stopped posting.
