Look, the Enquirer wasn’t invited to the service, which means that one of the deceased diva’s most loyal friends and relations took the picture off his cell phone and sold it, just like he sold her out. Maybe it was the preacher, her mother, daughter. In my experience attending the funerals of people who were “helped” into the next life, the most reliable rule of thumb is that the person who wails and weeps the loudest is the dirtiest.
As for the family's precious wishes, if the family had any class, they would have permitted the public to line up outside the funeral home in the days prior to the sdervice, and let everyone pass by her open casket, to pay their last respects. That sort of thing is done all the time, regarding public figures. But no, not Whitney's vipers, er, family. This is the same gang that at first refused to invite her ex, Bobby Brown, who just happens to be father of her only child, and then invited him, but--or so he alleges--harassed him, until he left early in the service.

HOUSTON, TX—
Yeah, yeah, the fact that Whitney Houston died is old news, but they just won't let her rest in peace.
The National Enquirer released a picture of Houston in her casket.
Is that too much? Do we really need to see dead people, even if they are Whitney Houston, on the front page?
Then again, does anyone expect the Enquirer to know anything about fine lines?
"It has really gone too far," said Greg Arredondo
While Kela Spearman said, "Some people want to see it, I don't know."
Houstonians are on both sides of the fence, but definitely have strong opinions.
Joey Whitehead said, "If the family didn't approve of it, I wouldn't approve of it, you know, it's kind of tacky."
Ed Persia said, "To show a picture of her in her casket, is just kind of like a viewing for the world."
Jane petty said, "That's crossing the line, that's a little too morbid, personal."
William Floyd said, "Our superstars are now dying away, so we kind of feel entitled to peek into that side of it, and say goodbye and pay our respects."
Karina Santos said, "They're just trying to sell a story, I don't think it's acceptable at all. If that were my mother, I'd be really upset."
The bigger question is who released the photo anyway, but that's a story for another time.
We just hope nobody tries to take a picture of her bones in the ground.
