Cause and Effect? Seattle Reader Writes on Military Academy Diversity and Rape, and the Seattle Air Jordan Riots

Dear Mr. Stix,

I note that sexual assaults are up at military academies, and so is minority recruitment. I can't help but wonder how many of the assaults are by minorities. I suppose getting the facts in this case is probably not possible. Even with the recent Nike Riots--although everyone instantly guessed who was responsible--only the pictures revealed the perpetrators.

In the case of our local Nike Riot--where police resorted to pepper spray--both my wife and I instantly guessed which mall was involved.

Sure enough, it turned out to be Southcenter--the mall close to the south end of the Black area.

It seems like the black problem is getting worse. Perhaps having one of their own in the White House makes them feel empowered.

Hope you and your family have a happy New Year.

[I received this letter prior to New Year’s, but lost it in a crash. Fortunately, I was able to recover it. I extend belated Happy New Year’s wishes to my reader and his family. (Crash or no crash, I’m always late, anyway.)

I share my correspondent’s suspicions about the cause of the rise in sexual assaults at our military academies, his lamentations about the increasing difficulty in getting reliable information on such matters, and second his observation about “the black problem.”

Note that the reader did most of the coding in his letter.]

P.S. I see that my reader and me both wrote "sexual assaults," when we meant rapes. Getting people who know better to use such euphemisms is the true measure of feminists' success.

  1. I too have also wondered about the number of interracial rapes in the Armed Forces. With todays PC military, which refused to label the Ft Hood Massacre as Islamic terrorism, but instead called it "workplace violence", no doubt any data on this this will not be compiled or it will be rigorously censored.

Of course, it is a given that the interracial rapes in the military will reflect those in society at large and will be black on white by a ratio of at least 9 to one.

BTW, here is a link on a FBI study of sexual homicides of elderly women that says that white on black sexual homicides of elderly women are so rare as to be almost nonexistent, where as the reverse is common.

And considering that the study says that the elderly women victims are symbolic scapegoats of hatred for the perp, it is just another metric of black race hatred of whites, this time documented by the FBI.

    Quote:

"Special Agent Mark E. Safarik, a profiler in the Behavioral Analysis Unit at the FBI Academy, has researched and written extensively about the topic of sexual homicides of elderly women. The study, published in the May issue of the Journal of Interpersonal Violence, involved a review of 110 offenders who perpetrated the rape and murder of 128 women 60 years and older. The mean age of the victims was 77.

“People find it difficult to imagine why a rapist would target an elderly victim, because society still equates sexual arousal and desire with rape,” Safarik said in a phone interview.

“You’re dealing with issues of power and anger in these cases, and for a number of these offenders the victim is largely symbolic,” he added.

Safarik speculated that the anger level, particularly with those who target elderly women, could be one explanation for the high murder rate of victims.

“Contrary to what some might think, their primary goal is the sexual assault,” says Safarik. Although they will usually make off with cash or jewelry afterwards, burglary is not the primary motivation—it is an afterthought.

White women not only make up 84 % of the victims in the study, but are the targets of rapists of all races. However, white men are unlikely candidates if the elderly victim is black or Hispanic, as they focus almost exclusively on elderly white women."

  2. While rape and other forms of sexual harassment were once only reported from public schools, it is quite alarming that there are now reports coming from military academies as well. What used to be a beacon of discipline and excellence is starting to become tarnished with these types of sad but true reports.
