Note that it is unsafe for a female to be out walking even at 7 p.m. in Detroit. Note, too, that although Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy has described the suspects as having kidnapped the victim, she has mysteriously not charged them accordingly.
Don’t get me wrong: Prosecutor Worthy stood tall against crime kingpin-Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, but I still don’t get it. (Detroit is within Wayne County’s jurisdiction.)

Two men were arraigned Thursday in Detroit, and another remains at large in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl.
Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged Detroit's Steven O. Wilson, 24, and Corey D. McElhaney, 20, and Southfield's DuJuan D. Lewis, 20. McElhaney is not yet in custody.
The girl was walking along Eight Mile at approximately 7 p.m. on Dec. 16 when Wilson and Lewis allegedly forced her into a truck and drove her to a suburban apartment in the 20000 block of Lahser.
Worthy said Wilson sexually assaulted the girl until approximately noon on Dec. 18, when she was taken to a house on the 14500 block of Roselawn in Detroit.
On Roselawn, the two other men sexually assaulted her, according to the prosecutor's report.
Wilson was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, and he faces life imprisonment. His bail was set Thursday at $500,000. Lewis faces one count of the same charge, and bail was set at $100,000/10 percent. McElhaney is still not in custody.
The preliminary exam is set for Jan. 3 at 1:30 p.m.
