Carter Strange Beating Update: Some Juvis to be Charged as Adults; Otherwise, Usual Not-a-Hate-Crime Official Story

Some of the juveniles arrested in the beating of Carter Strange in Columbia, South Carolina will be tried as adults. As before:

“But, said Johnson, there is no evidence that the suspects in this case targeted Strange explicitly because he was white.”

As South Carolina has no hate crime law, the Obama-appointed U.S. Attorney was asked to “take a look at it.”
