    Too bad. Sounds like Curt Schilling's story, but at least he didn't waste time and money actually running for Senate in the other-coast looney bin of Mass.

    So they're both doomed on any Hall of Fame hopes because of politics, and no amount of caving in on immigration or anything else is going to change that.

    But Steve Garvey was a great panelist on the original Gong Show!
