I don't recall when Sam Francis graduated from Hopkins. He went on to North Carolina for a PhD. We arrived in baltimore fall semester 1979. I used to walk around by myself between the homewood campus and enoch pratt free library, lexington market, and train station to washington, dc w/out problems. a lone White guy shouldn't try that today. A number of good used book stores operated then. we departed after spring semester 1982. only been back a couple of times for baltimore symphony concerts and daytime baseball games at camden yards.

white liberals, social activists refuse to publicly admit that the problem isn't wrong policies or not enough $$. the problem is blacks. lack of intelligence and hair-trigger temperament. NNN=No one Needs Negroes

N.S.: In his 1973 memoir, Fragments of the Century, socialist Michael Harrington (The Other America) asserted that Lyndon Johnson had never put nearly enough taxpayer money into the so-called war on poverty. And yet, in the same book, Harrington also celebrated black thugs. Battalions of leftists agreed--about the money and the thugs. And yet, any honest observer would have known, from the get-go, that giving criminals hand-outs would never lead to their becoming self-sufficient. You had to radically reduce their numbers, and punish them for their crimes, not radically expand their numbers, and issue them free crimes by the millions.
