"ex-mets outfielder Endy Chavez sues former big league all-star Melvin Mora over $1.2M investment fraud: ‘I trusted him’"

"ex-new york mets player Endy Chavez says another former big league star has struck out in paying him $1.2 million after their pricey business deal went south, the post has learned."

It sounds like Mora was doing a Ponzi scheme. That’s common among immigrants, too. He paid Endy $50,000 out of money he’d scammed from another immigrant, to make it look like it was profitable. If so, that’s felonious conduct.

  1. Too much money in baseball for the crooks not to try something--especially ex-players(from other countries).
