"Journalists Need to Learn How to Lay Bricks"

AOF: Once reporters were fondly referred to as "ink-stained wretches."  Nowadays a characterization by Spiro Agnew -- for which he was roundly scourged at the time -- seems more applicable: "An effete corps of impudent snobs."

N.S.: I once read a nice essay by Mark Judge about his grandfather's Washington Baseball Team, but I don't know what country Judge lives in. "The second thing I've learned working regular jobs is that most working people have a visceral and authentic distrust of political and social coercion." Working with blacks and Hispanics? Not in New York, or D.C.

  1. Lol,Judge thinks he KNOWS minorities?"Minorities are conservative,"but interestingly, all of them--except a handful of negros(they're on television, like Larry Elder) and TWO handfuls of Mex vote Democrat.

Conservative thinking--in MY book--does not include Mexicans taking over the country by invasion,or blacks taking over by reproduction.Without those two groups, the USA would have no problems.

  2. If you told them that on Twitter you'd probably lose your account, just like people who told journalists to 'learn to code' did.

Working in a "Woke" White collar business and the sole non "Woke" family member, I don't see much of these realistic working class types. Guess that's why I come here, it's an island of sanity in an insane world.

  4. Would YOU trust a building of bricks that had been built by journalist bricklayers?
