PGCE-P: Hyattsville used to be almost all white.

Then the sun went down.

Though in the case of Hyattsville, the sun is rising again. 😊

Hyattsville and Bladensburg are actual towns, not suburbs.

Well laid out with many single-family homes that were built decades ago. Well-built homes on spacious, heavily wooded lots.

Plus since D.C. is fast becoming wealthier, the only areas that are affordable near D.C. are the inner ring of older towns.

Worried about the crappy county public schools?

Send your kids to nearby Elizabeth Seton High School.

High skilled, good paying jobs are minutes away at the USDA and NASA Goddard in Greenbelt. Ditto nearby University of Maryland and the National Archives. Plus a gazillion things to do in D.C. and its suburbs.
