This is yet another affirmative action Nobel. Not that Louise Glück is all that bad, for an AA recipient.
During the early 1990s, as my Nice Jewish Girl (NJG) was getting ready to leave me, a jacket photo of a Louise Glück poetry collection inspired me to doggerel. In the picture, Glück's expression was hostile, and she seemed to be looking right past the reader. She wasn't half-bad looking, 35-40 years ago.
Glück and my ex both aged badly.
