POLLS AS DIFFERENT AS THE NEWS ORGANIZATIONS THAT TAKE THEM--BIDEN LEADS BY EITHER 3% OR 14%. Biden is leading Trump by 7.94 percentage points nationally, according to a USC Dornsife tracking poll that has followed the same group of voters over the last few months, down from 12.5 points in late August.
A national poll by IBD/TIPP found Biden leading Trump by just 2.6 points, down from an 8-point lead in early September.
GRA:NBC was delighted to report Biden was up 14% over Trump.CBS quickly repeated and amplified the poll on "Face the (Commie)Nation".One would think that some kind of rallying support for Mr.Trump,during and after his illness,would be normal. My personal thought all along was that Trump only got into office in 2016 because he was an unknown who promised,"a wall,MAGA,lower taxes and Supreme Court conservatives."Plus a colorful,glib,non-PC personality. Now he's a known and mostly disliked.The independents who gave him a chance will now give Biden a chance. --GRA
LAUGH OF THE DAY:WITH NINE LAPS TO GO,JUSSIE(BUBBA)WALLACE CRASHES INTO THE WALL TO END CHANCE FOR VICTORY GRA:I just turned it on late in the NASCAR race,mostly to see the 6 o'clock news,when the NBC announcers were fired up about SOMETHING. Jessie Smollett Wallace was leading with 10 laps to go,but like most blacks who drive at high speed,trying to escape a crime scene,Wallace hit something-the outer wall--and that was that.
