Is this Somali is going to be deported after his sentence is over? You have to dig around for his Somali background and no hint about his immigration status. Why is he here in the first place?

SEATTLE —
A man convicted of dealing crack cocaine tried an interestingcourt [sic] defense: he took photos with Seattle city officials to try to prove he was an upstanding citizen.
Nine photos of Ali Mohamed with city leaders were submitted to the court before his sentencing Friday after the man was convicted last month of dealing crack cocaine near a school.
On Friday the judge sentenced Mohamed to more than seven years in prison.
"I would like to ask the court to give me another chance, to change my life around,” Mohamed told the judge before sentencing.
His wife could be seen and heard crying on the front bench in the courtroom after the sentencing.
The deputy prosecuting attorney said the photos—with Seattle’s mayor, police chief and city attorney—were all taken after Mohammed's guilty verdict last month.
We checked with the police chief and mayor’s offices, and they say Mohammed didn’t know those officials and vice versa.
We didn’t get a response from the city attorney’s office.
John Wayne Gacy the notorious murderer posed with politicians all the time including in his clown suit. Even had a picture of himself posing with Rosalind Carter.
