Mexifornia: Body Found in Suitcase in Glendale ID’d as 21-Year-Old San Pedro Man

Murder victim Victor Manuel Moreno

A Texas Reader, who sent me this story asked,
Was it an American Tourister?

Or should I say, "Mexican-American Tourister"?

Looks like a gender bender.

A maintenance worker was cleaning out debris from the Verdugo Wash when he found the suitcase on Monday.

Once the suitcase was discovered, police were called to the scene, and a man’s body was found inside.

The man was identified as Victor Manuel Moreno, 21, of San Pedro, according to Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

An autopsy was performed on Moreno, but the cause of death was deferred, according to Winter. The death was reported as a homicide.

The suitcase was dumped in the wash in a spot that is not accessible to the public, near the Glorietta Avenue bridge.

No obvious stab wounds or gunshot wounds were found on the body, said Sgt. Tom Lorenz of the Glendale Police Department.

How about you take your own advice, and shut up? By the way, if my spelling and grammar were as bad as yours, I’d be too ashamed to sign off on my comments, too!

How about you shut up?! Everybody cares that he was homosexual, including you. The difference is, you lie about it. And how did Moreno die? No one knows, but acknowledging his homosexuality is essential to cracking the case. Are you opposed to solving this case? Maybe so. You show no interest in catching his killer, but simply want to intimidate people out of using their brains. Meanwhile, you top it off with a heart!

The killer was also likely a gang member, but you would surely condemn that observation as “racist.”

My readers, who are much more interested in solving this case than you are, are nowhere near as judgmental as you are, and certainly not as stupid, Mr. Caps. By the way, Victor Moreno’s killer was also “someone's son nephew brother and cousin,” so I guess we shouldn’t judge him, either. But it’s a waste of time to hope that you would see how moronic and immoral the “someone's son…” line is, since if you had a double-digit IQ, you wouldn’t have said it, to begin with.

I considered sending your idiotic, nasty remarks to the spam file, but decided instead to read you the Riot Act. However, I’m getting very tired of this act. The people who carry on as you do, never evince any interest in solving the crime, whereas my readers and I are interested in justice for the victims. Your verbal support of evil makes you guilty of intellectual evil… and phony, to boot.

Stupid, rude, judgmental and phony is no way to go through life, son.

  9. Listen son you can acknowledge someone's potential homosexuality without using offensive terminology like "gender bending" or just assuming he is "gay looking" and must be looking for sex. That type of generalizing and name calling isn't going to help you solve the case. It's just going to piss people off that were friends with the victim. If you were a serious detective investigating the case, of course you would inquire about the victim's love life and do so in a respectful and straightforward manner (as hopefully the detectives already have done). You however are not a police officer or detective as far as I know and are jumping to conclusions just like you are accusing others of doing. But perhaps I'm wrong. Have you and your readers cracked the case yet??
