"On the Waterfront', my all time favourite movie, once (I think I've seen it on a TV set maybe 15 times now,) as I was telling you, David, once I was lucky enough to see on the big screen, back in 2003 I think, in the GFT/Glasgow Film Theatre, awesome experience. Stay safe dude. The good thing I heard was that Richard Boone and Brando were stealing scenes form each other. That Richard Boone was one great actor, possibly one of the most underrated movie actors ever, except when he played heavies (e.g., Hombre).Nicholashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12372393717833610657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24200494.post-4782195878294533422015-09-21T17:58:08.448-04:002015-09-21T17:58:08.448-04:00Have you ever seen the 1969 film "The Night o...Have you ever seen the 1969 film "The Night of the Following Day?" But you missed one of his more famous, if short, roles: That of Jor-El in Superman (1978), for which he was paid $4 million for a few weeks of work -- and supposedly he didn't even bother to memorize his lines! But he was pretty good in Superman, nonetheless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24200494.post-9565721211836728612008-03-31T18:09:00.000-04:002008-03-31T18:09:00.000-04:00Brando was a great actor. The macho action parts are all black actors.Howardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06839066509171098023noreply@blogger.com
