Santa parade in central michigan town of big rapids has a safe event; why? "No bLACKS," a friend told me on the phone; he went there and reported--"Not one bLACK on the entire route"

GRA: Population around 8,000, a small college, Ferris state, and a few businesses on a main street. A nice city--I was up there two weeks ago. And "zero blacks at the Santa Claus parade on december 1st." That guaranteed it to be both enjoyable and a success for the White paradegoers.

N.S.: "big rapids" and "grand rapids" are two different cities in michigan. Lotta rapids in the “great lakes state.”
