      In the classic OUTER LIMITS episode "Hundred Days of the Dragon," a presidential candidate is killed and replaced by a Red Chinese whose appearance has been chemically altered so as to make him into an exact double of the victim. Of course he wins the presidency (sort of a takeoff on THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE, which was fiction till the election of Obama). At one point in the episode, the fake president (played by the superb Sidney Blackmer) projects his true self by narrowing his eyes into an oriental manner and glaring menacingly (abetted by Conrad Hall's incredible "noir" cinematography) Well, some jackass internet commenter- who actually works in Hollywood- said this was OFFENSIVE (the actor squinting his eyes to appear Asiatic) and would never be done today!
      These are the same people who are never offended by the terrible stuff they see around them every day.
