Subject: Tesla robo taxi autonomous driving mode live in Austin, Texas
Go to 25:00.
Eliminates drivers entirely.
So, what about robo taxi 18-wheelers?
they are up next.
There goes a good paying blue collar profession.
Uber is dead.
Ditto Door Dash.
Mix robots with robo taxi software.
The possibilities are endless.
Robo taxi mode for heavy construction equipment?
Yep.
It's coming.
Robo taxi for combines on a farm?
It's coming.
Robo taxi mode for planes?
No more union issues.
Robo taxi mode for cargo ships?
Robo taxi for robots working 24 x 7 x 365 in "lights out" factories?
End game is the complete elimination of millions of jobs.
Think about it.
UBI is coming.
Soon.
Very, very soon.
So, tell me again, please:
Why do the elites want - not need - but want millions of illiterate, feral, and unskilled workers in this country?
Wait till the job losses mount into the millions.
I would hate to be a non-English speaking brown person in the U.S. at that point.

Another way to kill large numbers of people. I'm sure the programmers of such vehicles are all beyond suspicion of terrorism via an 18 wheeler. There should be plenty of videos of 500 car accidents on snowy highways to watch, though.

I want those trucks to be driven by Americans who read English and make a decent living. Computers do not think. Artificial intelligence is not actual intelligence--just accumulations of crap they are given--garbage in, garbage out. Remember the 737s which flew into the ground--programmed by cheap Indian programmers? Remember when Sullenberger evaluated all the options and correctly decided that the best option was to land on the Hudson and so saved all the lives?
There is no substitute for control by a thinking human. Maybe someday computers will achieve consciousness and actually be able to think--not yet.
100% true. In this case,"progress",via AI,is not progress.
