Whenever I see media report a stat like, "it was the third time in a week that a sex toy has been thrown on a wnba court," I can't help but think about the Beatles "A Day in the Life," and the lyrics:
"I read the news today oh boy,
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire,
And though the holes were rather small,
They had to count them all,
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall."
Small holes, flying dildos, near miss airplane collisions, arson fires in LA--I wish they WOULDN'T count them all.
"ANOTHER (fill in the blank)today. This on top of the other two reports of (fill in the blank) in the last month.'

A side note of interest to those who are on top of the fake crime stats issue:
A DC Police Sergeant Exposed Her Superiors for Misclassifying Crimes To Make Stats Look Low. The City Just Quietly Settled Her Lawsuit.
It has mucho detail, copies of emails and transcripts. Nice job, Free Beacon. (Which is deceptively close to "Free Bacon").

And a side side note about an incredible immigration case, the setup of a fake home invasion to make some Indians (I assume) eligible for special immigration status as crime victims. Thankfully there is a based Sheriff and Deputies who played it to perfection, apparently. And also a based DA who picked up the ball after Homeland Security allegedly dropped it (but when? why? Knock, knock, Kristi, is anyone at noem?) And this media outlet that did a decent report.
