Riding the morons unlimited
[N.S.: On feb. 3, 2015, a woman named Ellen Brody committed mass murder, slaughtering five people, and maiming 15 (with some of her victims losing arms and legs to flying luggage) in the westchester county hamlet of valhalla, when she committed suicide by parking on railroad tracks in the path of a metro-north train. Brody's crimes were "disappeared," with the help of a new york times operative, Sam Tanenhaus, moonlighting for the new yorker, and a high-priced shyster named Philip Russotti, who decreed, "She was a victim."]

Riding the Morons Unlimited Suicide by Amtrak https://www.mercurynews.com/2025/06/27/san-leandro-man-charged-with-killing-passenger-by-driving-motorcycle-into-train/>
Defendant was critically injured, police say
SAN LEANDRO — Prosecutors have filed manslaughter charges against a motorcyclist who allegedly drove onto the railroad tracks as a train was about to pass, leading to a fatal collision.
Jarred Logan, 30, was charged with felony vehicular manslaughter and two infractions: a railroad crossing violation, and driving without a license. He pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, court records show.
Killed in the Feb. 23 crash was Julia Rocca, who was riding on Logan's 2003 Honda motorcycle. Logan and a group of more than 100 motorcyclists were on a ride when they stopped at the railroad tracks near Hesperian Boulevard and Springlake Drive to wait for a passing Amtrak train, which police say approached at "about 79 miles per hour," the speed limit for passenger trains.
With the warning lights still active, police say Logan "made the decision to disregard the dangers of ignoring the warning devices, and began to cross the railroad tracks," where the motorcycle was struck by the train. Police say Logan was critically injured in the crash.
Logan is listed in the charging documents as a San Jose resident, but a recent court minute order says he lives out of state. He has been released from jail after paying a bond company to post $75,000 bail, court records show.
His next court date has been set for Aug. 12.
Stupidity is rampant--and spreading.

"...a group of more than 100 motorcyclists were on a ride..."
ReplyDeleteAnd why is this allowed?
"Everything is permitted."
This is the world we've been handed.
Remember "The Wild One"? The threat wasn't the bikers, the fear was of the Average Citizen taking the law into his own hands. God forbid people might stand up and DO something. "Easy Rider," from the already-lawless 60s, saw the answer. They were dealt with properly at the end of that movie, by people who were no better than they were.

Your mention of the coverup of a mass murder story in The New Yorker recalls the case of Kitty Genovese, whose murder in 1964 was falsely attributed to the indifference of her neighbors, the so-called “37 witnesses” who, according to the New York Times, failed to report the attack by her killer when it was happening. This group libel, invented by NYT Editor Abe Rosenthal, was so influential that for decades it became enshrined in public belief and known as the “bystander effect” in psychology books
ReplyDeleteYou're telling me? We even had that in comic books when the younger writers were injecting what was called "relevance" into the stories- bystanders "not wanting to get involved," or heroes who got fed up and walked away, only to learn life's hard lesson and recant at the penultimate moment.
DeleteWhat's really amazing is that the lie was perpetuated for so long, not to mention hiding the fact the killer was black, and escaped to assault someone else! (For all its faults, one must be grateful to the Internet for revealing these things.)

Forgive the rant-
ReplyDeleteThe scum are out in full force today, and maybe it's not a coincidence that it's "pride" weekend. Gays are a big part of biker "culture," as are blacks- people who used to be marginalized, with good reason.
Motorcycles have a single purpose: to create NOISE. And in turn, to draw attention to themselves by creating noise, and again in turn, to intimidate people by making noise. As rock music was used in the past, and later rap "music". And of course none of this could exist without drug use.
The bikers are a big part of Trump's base, one of many degenerate groups he panders to. I suppose that's something else I can thank him for.

When two wheels becomes zero wheels, also afflicting Aidan Zingg, 16, who is said to have "'went down in a corner during a race and was reportedly run over by multiple bikes and remained unconscious for two laps before the race was red flagged'. "
ReplyDeletePastor Chuck Swindoll, many years ago, speaking slowly and deliberately:
"Some of you ride motorcycles."
(long pause).
"I do not."
(long pause).
"God help those of you who do."
And a news item from a dangerous intersection in the intersectionality spectrum: "The East Springfield Library Branch hosted “Autism Is, Autism Isn’t,” an event aimed at addressing the misconceptions surrounding autism and neurodivergence in teenagers and adults of color."

ReplyDeleteThere's a high school football/basketball athlete named, I kid you not, Noah Knigga...and he's White.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pPCEw_x_6rk
From what I've read, he's a highly rated athlete that will play in college somewhere but I really hope this guy makes it to the pro's just to hear stadium's filled with White fans chanting: "Knigga, knigga, knigga".
The only thing that would have been better is if his name was "Knigger"
YT coments are a hoot.
Noah Knigga--that CAN'T be legit,lol. Great post.
