  1. With "the shakes",all he had to do was place his hands around the guy's neck--and let the D.T.'s do the rest.

  2. Sometimes your program needs that 13th step.

Just sentence him to community service. Tom Homan has some deportation missions that would be a good fit.

  3. TAMPA BAY:CHURCH'S RESTAURANT--IN THE GHETTO--A GOOD PLACE TO DO DRUGS AND KILL SOMEONE(RACELESS)TOO.

Feb 28(tampa bay times)A(black) man is facing a murder charge after a woman was found dead in the drive-thru of a Tampa fast-food restaurant last summer.

Michael Canty, 54, was charged Friday with second-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence in connection with the death of Dawn Morrison, 48, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The investigation began shortly after 10 a.m. June 18, when a 911 caller reported seeing a body partially buried in mulch in the Church’s Chicken drive-thru at 2219 E. Fletcher Ave., the news release states. The body was identified as Morrison, and a medical examiner determined she had sustained upper body trauma. Her death was ruled a homicide.

According to court records, Canty and Morrison were seen on surveillance video walking to the dumpster area of a nearby McDonald’s shortly after 11:30 p.m. on June 15. About 15 minutes later, the two are seen leaving the dumpster area and walking north up the Church’s Chicken drive-thru.

At about 11:54 p.m., a female voice can be heard yelling, “Quit it! Quit it,” followed by loud screams of “Help!” About 48 seconds later, the cameras at Church’s Chicken lost power and stopped transmitting video, the records state.

Over the next couple of hours, surveillance footage captured Canty going back and forth between the Church’s drive-thru and the McDonald’s dumpster, according to the records. No other people were seen entering or exiting the Church’s drive-thru.

During that time, records state, Canty changed his clothes. According to authorities, the pants he changed into and the black boots he was wearing before, during and after Morrison’s death had bloodstains on them that contained both his and Morrison’s DNA.

On Feb. 6, Canty was arrested on unrelated charges of failing to report a name or address change as a sex offender. A few days later, detectives asked him about Morrison’s death.

According to court records, Canty said he went to the Church’s Chicken parking lot to smoke crack with Morrison. He initially denied going to the drive-thru with her, but after seeing the surveillance video, he said it was possible and he didn’t remember. He also identified himself on video leaving the McDonald’s shortly after he changed his clothes.

Canty “denied killing the victim and had no explanation for how her blood would be on his boots or pants,” the records state.

GRA:I looked for a pic of the deceased, but none were available on the web.
