"redwood city — a man who crashed into a San Carlos family's car while street racing in 2022, killing the parents instantly, has been sentenced to 90 days of electronic home monitoring, according to the San Mateo county district attorney's office.

"Cesar Morales, 20, who was a minor at the time of the crash, was racing on el camino real and reaching speeds of over 80 miles per hour when he crashed into the car of Grace Spiridon and Gregory Ammen. the crash orphaned the couple's 7-year-old twin daughters, one of whom was also injured in the collision.

"according to the da's office, San Mateo county judge Susan I. Etezadi had declined to try Morales as an adult. Morales was 17 at the time of the crash.

"last november, Etezadi convicted Morales of two counts of felony vehicular manslaughter but not the two counts of second-degree murder prosecutors had filed, the da's office said. Morales was also found guilty of three counts of engaging in a speed contest resulting in great bodily injury and one count of engaging in a speed contest

family members of Spiridon and Ammen spoke at the hearing and showed a video of the twin girls at different times in their lives, according to the da's office.

"Morales' sentence means he must remain at home with his parents except for school, medical appointments and other allowed activities, according to the da's office. He will remain under probation supervision for a maximum time of one year.

"the other driver — Kyle Harrison, 23 at the time of the crash — pleaded no contest to charges including vehicular manslaughter. he faces up to 9 years and 4 months in prison when he is sentenced next month.

"the race between the two drivers began with an encounter around 8 p.m. on nov. 4, 2022, as they waited at a red light in San Carlos. about half a mile into the race, Morales' Mercedes-Benz e55 hit the victims' car, which was turning left from northbound el camino real onto finger avenue, in redwood city.

"two drivers have been charged with second-degree murder after a 'speed contest' led to a deadly nov. 4 crash that killed" the parents of 7-year old twins, a peninsula district attorney said tuesday.

"a 17-year old whose vehicle crashed, leading to the fiery deaths of Greg Ammen and Grace Spiridon in another vehicle, was arrested friday, according to police. the suspect was behind the wheel of a vehicle that collided with Ammen and Spiridon's car, killing them both instantly.

>"the couple's 7-year old daughters were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. their loss has galvanized the redwood city community; a gofundme dedicated to supporting the young children had raised more than half a million dollars by tuesday afternoon.

"on tuesday, San Mateo county district attorney Steve Wagstaffe confirmed to the bay area news group that he would charge the juvenile driver, as well as the 23-year-old that was allegedly driving another vehicle in the race, with second-degree murder.

"two passengers in the 17-year-old's car also were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

"police say the juvenile and 23-year old Kyle Harrison of redwood city were engaged in a "speed contest" just before the deadly crash occurred. Harrison was arrested at his home Monday.

according to the da's office, the two suspects were strangers, and initiated a street race while at a stop light. when the light turned green, both drivers took off at speeds between 80 and 90 miles per hour.

"Harrison drove off from the scene unharmed, but a witness captured his license plate on her phone camera, leading to his arrest.

"Wagstaffe said both suspects were charged with three counts: two counts of second-degree murder and one felony charge of racing on a public road. the 17-year old suspect faces an additional charge on inflicting injury to one of the 7-year old children, a passenger in Ammen and Spiridon's vehicle.

"the 17-year old has been charged in juvenile court, but Wagstaffe said he had requested that the case be transferred to adult court. in a process that Wagstaffe said takes months, the suspect will be subject to hearings to determine whether he'll be charged as an adult.

P.S.: Fox news reported that Cesar Morales, then age 17, was driving "his Mercedes." Just how did a 17-year-old come to have such an expensive car? Inquiring minds want to know.

iranian-born war criminal, judge Susan Etezadi

war criminal Susan Etezadi sentenced Kyle Harrison to nine years and four months in prison, even though he did not smash into and slaughter Grace Spiridon, 42, and Gregory Ammen, 44, and leave their seven-year-old daughters orphans. Under the traditional legal principle of "acting in concert" ("criminal responsibility" in some states, such as tennessee), it didn't matter if one had pulled the trigger in a crime in which one was an accessory. However, prosecutors and judges have under the unofficial regime of criminal justice affirmative action, illegally nullified said principle. They issue criminal members of affirmative action groups free crimes by the millions, while prosecuting, convicting, and sentencing Whites who have committed the same crimes, or no crime at all, to up to life in prison. Thus, Susan Etezadi sentenced Cesar Morales to being not guilty, on account of being hispanic, while sentencing Kyle Harrison as guilty of being White.

GRA:Outrageous that a 17 year old spic is let off the hook for two vehicular murders. The judge must be recalled--but in mexifornia? Not much chance of that happening.
