illinois is dominated politically by the blacks and browns who live in and around chicago.
Ditto Maryland, except with Maryland it's the parasites who live in the Maryland suburbs of D.C, and the blacks in baltimore.

How the U.S. gets out of the the BIG problem--blacks running things and living at 50-60% demographics in big cities--escapes me.

Decades ago I grew up in the Maryland suburbs--which were full of White government employees. Now, for what I hear, the same area is full of blacks--government employment is what made the black middle class--and the pay is twice what it is in the private sector.
