Carlson is a civic nationalist. He *explicitly* denigrates white racial identity and racial consciousness. He makes fun of racially conscious Whites. He says that's a "Nazi idea".

He's not an advocate for white people or white America. On this question he is a child. The author of the article explains it:
"A lot of conservatives don’t like identity politics because it bases political representation on something that we don’t choose: our identities. This, of course, is a deeply liberal assumption, namely that anything unchosen is illegitimate."
So on this he has a mindset that's identical to the political Left.
He's mostly an entertainer.

ReplyDeleteCarlson is correct. I have enough Irish to qualify for Irish citizenship but Biden or Kennedy or any one of many ethnic Irish politicians don't speak for me. But black men like Clarence Thomas or Sowell mostly could speak for me. Similarly Stix is not represented by all the leftist Jews in the ACLU or Southern Poverty Law Center, etc. Now on average you can predict what people are for by race--blacks, Jews, Chinese, East Indians, and many other ethnicities can be reliably expected to vote for leftists. On that basis I would choose to prevent immigration of more of them. By the way both Vivek and Haley would bring in more leftist Indian colonists and I would not vote for either one of them. And both are dishonest--the first made his millions with a massive drug company con job while Haley feathered her nest while holding political office--like Biden.
