By the time I get to Phoenix,
They’ll be shooting,
All the blackies will be hanging in the mall,
They’ll laugh, after firing weapons for no reason,
Cause they’ve done the same, so many times before.

By the time I make Kansas City,
They’ll be killing,
They'll probably shoot their guns,
In a free-for-all,
But the cops just hear the shots, keep on ringing,
Another call, that’s all.


By the time I make ol’ Chicago,
They’ll be looting,
They’ll kill easy marks and yell out—like they’re proud,
And I sigh, when I hear, the explanations,
Which,every time—it never is their fault,
Here’s what I know:
blacks have got to go.
