Loudoun Now – 08 Jun 2021 – “Ziegler Tapped as New Loudoun Superintendent”

Ziegler will be paid $295,000 in the first year of his four-year contract, which is the maximum amount of time Virginia state law permits for a superintendent to serve at one time. ... He will also receive $12,000 year in vehicle expenses.

$300+k and he’s such a piece of [crap].

[The School Board vote for Ziegler was unanimous.]

The comments on this story are interesting; I suggest reading them. None are recent, yet all remark unfavorably on the hiring of Ziegler – one refers to a lawsuit – seems to be another; I doubt it is this one:

Teacher placed on leave for opposing transgender pronouns sues Virginia school district

A teacher in Virginia has filed a lawsuit against his school district after its leadership put him on leave for rejecting policies that would implement transgender ideology in local schools. ... Byron Tanner Cross, a physical education teacher at Leesburg Elementary School, filed suit last week against the Loudon County School Board for disciplining him for expressing concern over a proposed policy. ... Filed in Loudon County Circuit Court, the suit accused the board, Interim Superintendent Scott A. Ziegler and another official of “viewpoint-based retaliation.”

Based PE teacher strikes back.

Another shocking/revealing article:

Loudoun Now -- 13 Oct 2021 -- Parents, Students Press for Reform in Schools’ Handling of Sexual Assaults

“What are you doing to protect my daughters and every LCPS student from being sexually assaulted at school?” one mother said. “You allowed a student who is currently charged with sexually assaulting a girl to be quietly transferred to another school. The same high school my twin daughters attend ... Why did you put my daughters and every 14- to 18-year-old girl at Broad Run at risk of being sexually assaulted?”

Maybe not a new problem -- ?

Concerns about the school division’s handling of assaults also is a concern of a group of Woodgrove High School alumni who say they experienced sexual assault, harassment, or violence during their years at the school. They are working to change the culture at their alma mater to protect current and future students with their organization, Be Better Woodgrove.

"rejecting policies"

The showers after gym class. Sure that is what it is. No swinging Richards in my showers with the girls. Sure. This is what the USA has come to.
