R.C.: So, the Mexicans on the reservations are truly sovereign nations?
Are they sons and daughters of the Confederacy?
N.S.: I initially made the hed, "South Dakota Biker Festival: Riders to be Blocked from Crossing American Indian Checkpoints," but dropped the "American" part. After all, if they've been granted sovereign segregation, they're not American.

The whole idea of Indian tribes being sovereign nations is a joke. They are dependent on about 20 billion dollars of subsidies paid for by the American government. They have American citizenship and vote in American elections--no doubt most vote for the Democrat who promises the most giveaways. They get their panties in a bunch about "cultural appropriation" but virtually everything from their blue jeans to their pickup trucks to their square houses with TV and internet connections was appropriated from White civilization. If they really want to be sovereign nations they should refuse the money, and give up their citizenship. The reason why there is so much poverty on Indian reservations is that in reality they are socialist systems where individuals don't own the land they live on and are suppressed by tribal government. Of course some of them--the corrupt leaders--are doing well from the casinos they operate to suck money out of foolish white people. We should simply call them Casino Americans.
Bikers can go off road and ride around the checkpoints.
Set up checkpoints to check for American Indians want to leave the rez and use the services of an American hospital. Tell them to go see the medicine man.
