TCM's Film Noir of the Week for Saturday Night-Sunday Morning at Midnight ET (and 10 a.m. ET Sunday Morning) is Billy Wilder's Double Indemnity (1944).

Fred MacMurray stars as Walter Neff, an insurance salesman who allows Barbara Stanwyck, playing a scheming, unfaithful wife, to maneuver him into a plot to kill her rich husband. The plan is to collect a big insurance payoff from Double Indemnityto—a come-on used by insurance companies for a death scenario that almost never happens. Edward G. Robinson plays MacMurray’s supervisor at the office who investigates insurance claims.

The murder was made to look like an accident and the suspense element of the film is, will Robinson discover it was a murder?

Raymond Chandler and director Wilder wrote the screenplay from James M. Caine's pulp novel. I recall a commentary for the DVD edition said Chandler wrote MacMurray's dialogue (“I wonder if you wonder”) and Wilder Robinson’s.

This is the paradigm Film Noir plot. A sap falls for a femme fatale, kills her husband for her, and the entire plan falls apart, resulting in his destruction.

As I previously remarked here about James M. Caine’s other novel, The Postman Always Rings Twice; “The story begins with the protagonist having the best sex he’s ever had. It ends with him in San Quentin facing the gas chamber.”

"19" year old man (Muslim migrant?), is arrested and his mugshot goes viral when it reveals a 30 something year old looking face with a severe case of middle aged male pattern baldness. https://www.foxnews.com/us/teens-mugshot-goes-viral-for-the-wrong-reason

From the article:

"Murad Mansurovich Kurbanov was arrested Tuesday and charged with theft of a rental vehicle, failure to stop at the command of police and reckless driving, according to FOX 13 Salt Lake City."

That name could conceivably be an Eastern European one but that doesn't change the issue this raises. How many of these male migrants are claiming to be underage in order to get access to actual Western children in our schools? I say male because every time one of these stories hits the news it's a man who is usually Muslim or African. The issue of migrants fraudulently claiming to be underage is a subject the MSM has basically ignored, while they occasionally give an individual incident token attention they never raise the issue that it is a pattern that is happening on a mass scale, instead their limited coverage suggests it's an anomalous event.

It is good to see this guys picture generating some media attention but I don't think it's going to galvanize the MSM into exposing the true level of migrant age fraud.

I tried to search for any information on this guy's citizenship status but could only find articles related to his arrest, none of which raised the issue, except in comment fields by readers wondering the same thing.

Kurbanov even looks older than 6' 9" 30 yr. old Jonathan Nicola, the Sudanese migrant who claimed to be high school age in order to play basketball and have access to high school kids. I've tried to find out what happened to him and there is very little online but from what I could glean, Nicola has never been convicted of anything and was not deported. This is the last news report I could find. Diversity justice for you. https://windsorstar.com/news/local-news/south-sudanese-man-who-posed-as-windsor-high-schooler-likely-cant-be-kicked-out-of-canada

Here is a case of age fraud by an Iranian man in Ipswitch UK that details the lengths parents had to go through in order to get him out of school with their children, and the extreme resistance school administrators (undoubtedly diversity operatives) went to fight them. Check out the guys photo, like with Nicola, just how delusional is the liberal mind that it believes these men are kids? : https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6423519/Parents-dismissed-racist-school-complained-migrant-posing-15-year-old.html

It occurs to me that the only times these frauds are revealed is the extreme ones, that is when a man clearly looks like he is 30 something years old, which makes me wonder about the 20 somethings who might actually be able to pass as children. I've always looked much younger than my age and when I was 30 I still looked like I could have been in high school, nobody would have questioned me on purely surface physical inspection and I have no doubt there are migrant males who can do that. It would require rigorous screening to sift out the frauds but it could be done, except in our PC society it might be "damaging" and "offensive" to those fragile migrant children and their parents so it's not likely to happen. So they go ahead and let those adult men have access to our children, that's the diversity fanatics for you.

Here is an article that gives some insight on the scale of migrant age fraud in Massachusetts: https://www.nationalreview.com/2014/07/adult-illegal-immigrants-posing-children-enroll-high-school-ryan-lovelace/

TCM's Film Noir of the Week for Saturday Night-Sunday Morning at Midnight ET (and 10 am ET Sunday Morning) is His Kind of Woman (1951) starring Robert Mitchum, Jane Russell, and Vincent Price, directed by John Farrow. Charles McGraw, Raymond Burr, and Jim Backus also appear.

Film Noir Guide: "Just when you're ready to give up on this as too slow-moving, the snappy dialogue and camp humor draw you back in. It may take a while, but once you're hooked you'll stay hooked. Mitchum, sleepy-eyed and disinterested as usual, is a gambler who's offered fifty Gs by hoods to go to Mexico and await further instructions. Broke and in debt to an angry bookie, he accepts the offer. At a Mexican resort, Mitchum meets singer Russell and easily convinces her she's 'his kind of woman.' ...Eventually, he discovers that he's there to participate in a plan that will allow a deported mobster (Burr) to reenter the U.S. His Kind of Woman certainly deserves its status as a camp classic, thanks to terrific performances, especially by Burr, who's just sensational as the wild-eyed, sadistic gangster, and Price in a hilarious self-parody. (If you're tempted to give up before Price arrives on the scene, give it a little more time. He's worth the wait)."

This film is another example of Raymond Burr being the best "heavy" in film noir.
