The Smiling Felony Suspect with the Nice Hair, in Gates, N.Y.: Through the Magic of Media Evil and Affirmative Action Policing, a 30-Man Black Felony Riot Initiated by Proud Female Criminals, is Transformed into an “Altercation/Brawl/Melee” and “Disorderly Conduct”

I knew this was a black thing, before reading the names of the arrestees, or seeing Nykia Brooks’ mug shot, through a WRPT (wicked racial profiling trick—Countenance Blogmeister). The WRPT consists of asking, “Which group constantly commits these sorts of crimes?,” and answering, “Blacks!”

The photograph at the top of the page is, believe it or not, the mug shot of Nykia Brooks, 17. Six months from now, this crime and her smiling mug shot will have been sent down the memory hole. There will be no record that Brooks committed felony riot, because she has not been charged thusly, and will get, at worst, an ACD—“adjudication in contemplation of dismissal”—which, according to the law, will be wiped clean if she stays out of trouble for six months, or the charges will simply be dropped. However, if Brooks should get arrested again during the six-month period, her ACD will still be wiped clean. Where do I get such crazy ideas? The whole idea of probation, and by extension, via drip-down criminal justice Affirmative Action, was to give first-time offenders a “second chance” to avoid the slammer. However, “second chance” has become 100 chances, ending only in murder, or the felon’s own death.

[Pre-publication update: The first two stories I read (AP/KSN and Time-Warner Cable News Rochester, also misrepresented the charges against Nykia Brooks. It took my reading a third story, to learn that Brooks was charged with a felony: “Brooks is charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct, both violations. She was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $4,000 cash bail.” However, I still say that nothing will come of this case. If Nykia Brooks gets probation, it will be for at most one year, will not be affected by any violations of probation, short of murder, unless she commits federal felonies, and at the end of the term of “punishment,” the record of her crime, “punishment,” and violations of said, will all be sent down the memory hole. To those who will point to Brooks’ age, she is old enough to be charged as an adult and, indeed, she was.]

The first thing, by the AP’s Ryan Newton, is devoid of names, mug shots, or videos, even though Newton had access to all of them, and more time than his more forthcoming colleagues. The second thing, by “TWC News Staff,” had four of the arrestees’ names, a small mug shot of the smiling Nykia Brooks, and a worthless video which shows none of the rioters. That was surely no accident, as I cannot believe that Time-Warner Cable News Rochester did not have access to better video clips.

Only the third article, by Will Cleveland, of Gannett’s Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, mentions the felony charge against Nykia Brooks. (All three articles are reprinted below.)

Black diversity: Mug shot of "assault" suspect, David Morris, 41, sans smile or nice hair

Note, too, that earlier in the same day, at the same Wal-Mart, one black man committed attempted murder against another, raceless man. “David Morris, 41, was arrested later in the day in Rochester and charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon” TWC Rochester.

While I have no idea whether David Morris is the guilty party, if you stab someone in the neck, as the perp reportedly did in this case, that’s attempted murder.

It sounds like Detroit or Flint. That Wal-Mart ought to be on life-support, or simply shut down.

GATES, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities are continuing to investigate a 30-person brawl at a western New York Wal-Mart that led to four arrests.

Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode says the fight started around 7 p.m. Sunday after two 17-year-olds made fun of a dress worn by a 24-year-old woman. He says the altercation quickly escalated into a melee.

The chief says people went into the sporting goods section of the store and got baseball bats to use in the fight.

Police say a 17-year-old girl threw a can of food at a 52-year-old man, hitting him in the head. She's charged with assault, harassment and related offenses. Three others have been charged with disorderly conduct.

Authorities are continuing to review surveillance video.

GATES, N.Y. -- Police in Gates released surveillance video of a weekend brawl inside the Chili Avenue Walmart which began when, officers said, two 17-year-old girls began verbally disparaging a 24-year-old woman's clothing.

A fight then erupted between the women and members of their families, according to Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode, who said the people fighting began reaching for items on the shelves to use as weapons. VanBrederode said some even ran to the sporting goods section to pick up baseball bats. Extra police were brought in to stop the fight.

Nykia Brooks, 17, of Chili is charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Brooks is accused of throwing a can of food and hitting a 52-year-old man in the head.

Jakari Snowden, 17, of Gates is charged with disorderly conduct and police said he had an outstanding warrant on shoplifting charges which allegedly happened at the same Walmart.

Patrick Goodwin and Jasmine Jones, both 21 and both from Rochester, were also charged with disorderly conduct.
Police said more arrests are pending.

Four people were arrested following a 30-person brawl at the Walmart in Gates Sunday night.

According to Gates Police Chief Jim VanBrederode, officers responded around 7 p.m. to the store at 2150 Chili Ave. for a fight inside the store.

VanBrederode said the fight started after two 17-year-olds, one from Chili and the other from Gates, made fun of a dress worn by a 24-year-old. "They were verbally harassing her," VanBrederode said.

The incident escalated quickly and erupted into "a big melee," VanBrederode said. He said both the victim and the suspects had big families there. The groups grabbed items off the shelves to use in the brawl.

In the middle of the brawl, Nykia Brooks, 17, of Chili, allegedly threw a can of food at a 52-year-old man and struck him in the head, causing bleeding.

VanBrederode said people went into the sporting goods section of the store and got baseball bats to use in the fight. Officers recovered the bats before they could be used to hurt anyone. Extra police were called into deal with the situation.

Brooks is charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and second-degree harassment and disorderly conduct, both violations. She was remanded to the Monroe County Jail on $4,000 cash bail.

She is due back in Gates Town Court at 5:30 p.m. July 14.

Three others were charged with disorderly conduct and issued appearance tickets. One man who was arrested also has an outstanding shoplifting warrant from the Gates Walmart last December.

Surveillance footage is being reviewed and further arrests are pending, VanBrederode said.

It was the second violent incident that day at the Gates Walmart. Around 3 p.m. in the parking lot, a man was stabbed in the neck. [Describing a stabbing in the passive voice? Must be that "knife violence," again.]

David A. Morris, 41, of Rochester was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both felonies, following the altercation.

On the other side is my favorite black racist--Lester Holt, who tonight on the Negro Nightly News' promo commercial during my local news, stated that,"we have uncovered ANOTHER video of the shooting in Baton Rouge involving a black and a white police officer."Judge Holt will conduct a quick trial--as usual--and an unofficial guilty verdict should be rendered within 10 minutes by Holt and one of his judicial reporters. The inference being,"We caught another white cop doing what ALL white cops do".The black family crying about how "innocent" the black thug was--with a gun no less.Another black lotto story in the making.I saw the video and he was fighting with the cops. The police shouldn't be charged with anything, imho.
This is the same old script in a different locale.

For any other normal American, and certainly by the age of 17, an arrest and mugshot would be cause for deep shame: for the look of it, for her it is almost a matter of pride, a right of passage.
As previously defined in your list of 'black privilege', she KNOWS - if having learned nothing else from the $15 to $20K that her county wasted in trying to turn this natural-born criminal into a functioning citizen - that she will NEVER be held to full account for her actions, that she has NOTHING to fear from the current 'judicial system'.
Nothing short of being shot seems to convince these people that taking the imperious stance of never complying with any legitimate authority might have negative consequences for their lives.
Throwing a one-pound can of food at someone's face? 'That ain't shit'.
