Back in April, I left the following comment on the article’s thread:

I thought buggery wasn't a crime or a sin anymore, but something we must embrace and celebrate.

I guess the problem was that he allegedly raped a dog, rather than a white man.

WYFF reports:

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WISTV) —An Orangeburg man has been arrested after being accused of sexually assaulting a dog.

Freddie James was taken into custody by the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office on Friday.

According to the incident report, the owner was notified by her neighbor that the 79-year-old James struck the puppy in the head and had sex with it.

Authorities say both knees on James’ pants were dirty while the rest of his pants were clean.

Deputies found the dog scared, shaking and trying to hide under a car, according to the incident report. The owner says she would take the dog to the vet following the incident.

James was charged with buggery. His bond was set at $1,000.
