You’re welcome.

Even when its Website was operational, it was incompetently set up, such that it was virtually impossible to find items directly through it. I found that I had to go through a search engine like Google, in order to find MBC articles.

The MBC’s main page still exists, but it says that the Museum is temporarily shut down, because of the China Virus. That’s nonsense. It’s shut down, because it went broke years ago. I recall messages on its main page a few years ago, about it being in dire financial straits.

On the Web, people are still people. They hire not competent people, but in no particular order, their incompetent cronies, relatives, in-laws and “politicals.” If you’re in decent shape, you can survive a number of such mistakes, but if you’re on the margin financially, you can’t. Carl Laemmle, founder of the original Universal Studios, was guilty of such rampant nepotism that the studio went under, and had to be sold.Nicholashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12372393717833610657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24200494.post-5748272427476461962021-01-14T00:13:26.168-05:002021-01-14T00:13:26.168-05:00P.S. If the movie and TV series weren’t about a city, than [sic] why were they called Naked City, instead of say, Tobacco Road, or The Human Predicament?"
Well for starters, maybe because those titles were taken? Sure, both were about a city, but not about streets and skyscrapers (like a documentary); especially for the TV series, the stories were about the people of that city. At the risk of stating the obvious, the "8 million stories" refers to the population of NYC--every person has a story. And for what it's worth, Bert Leonard said in many interviews back then (and one I did with him in 1988) that the show was about the people of New York. Every week a different guest star. The stories were about them. New York was a continuing co-star, but . . . yeah, Naked City was about people. Although it's a breather from the 50's chick flick I've watched, I just can't help but find the plot too bland; it’s too standard for my taste. Anyway, can you suggest any classic movies relating to Legalities and Business Management? I've seen Wall Street (1987), but I would like to watch something that will give me a hard time predicting the ending.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17376717134764385581noreply@blogger.com
