I'm blessed to have a wife that's interested in World War II and wants to know more, like me.<br /><br />However, watching these shows made me sad, maybe even a little envious. It wasn't hard to figure out why. Our nation once seemed to know how to deal with her enemies. Now, I'm not so sure. Someone might correct me, but as far as I know, our military was never restrained by "rules of engagement" when it fought the Germans and Japanese.
