If you want to learn how Jackson got his start in his life of crime, read the biography by America's greatest investigative reporter, Carl Horowitz, of Jackson's successor, Al Sharpton: Sharpton: A Demagogue's Never-Ending Rise. I think this is the fourth edition, and is now encyclopedic. (It also cites at least three of my articles.

It meant nothing.
Media ate it up.

As if blacks knew what "conflagration" meant.
