"news 12 spoke exclusively with stabbing survivor Kaitlynn Berman after the man accused of stabbing her 22 times was released without bail. back on march 22, Berman says 22-year-old Christopher Joseph stabbed her 22 times with a kitchen knife.

"Joseph was arrested on march 23 and charged with 13 criminal counts, including attempted murder, attempted [?!] assault, and criminal possession of a weapon charges, among others. judge Darlene R. Goldberg released Joseph on his own recognizance, with no bail, on dec. 10. the bronx district attorney's office told news 12 they wanted cash bail set at $1m. they were overruled. N.S. Note that judge Goldberg is a Kathy Hochul appointee from june. Thus, she wasn't even on the bench at the time that Christopher Joseph cut Kaitlynn Berman to pieces. Thus, Hochul is just as responsible for Christopher Joseph's release as Goldberg.
