GRA: There goes my hilarious "brown on Brown crime" headline.
"(cnn)• the person of interest detained in connection with yesterday’s deadly shooting at Brown university has been identified as 24-year-old Benjamin Erickson of wisconsin, multiple law enforcement sources tell cnn.
"• sources said earlier that the person of interest was found with a revolver and a small Glock handgun in his room at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode Island. A CNN crew was at the hotel when law enforcement swarmed the location early this morning.
"• The shooting left two students dead and nine others injured at the Ivy League school in Providence. A vigil and community event were held at a local park Sunday evening, where the city’s mayor said residents could come together and “shine a little bit of light.” Classes and exams have been canceled at Brown as the campus reels from the shooting.

(nbc noise) A 24-year-old man,Benjamin Erickson, was detained Sunday morning, three senior law enforcement officials told nbc noise. On Sunday night, officials said there was no longer a reason to keep him in custody in connection with the shooting, which killed two students and wounded nine other people at the Ivy League school.
The tip that led to the man's detainment was fielded by the FBI, said Providence's police chief, Col. Oscar Perez.

(CNN)There are new photos of the possible Brown University shooting suspect from around 2 p.m. Saturday, hours before the deadly mass shooting at Brown University, authorities said today. The FBI, which announced a $50,000 reward leading to an arrest and conviction, also released a description, saying the person is “approximately 5’8” with a stocky build.”

• Earlier, a person of interest detained in connection with the attack was released, and has been cleared in the investigation, Rhode Island Attorney General Peter Neronha said.

GRA:I reaffirm my initial suspicion of a "brown on Brown" shooting. Light brown or dark brown is the question.
