"bROWN ON BROWN" CRIME? SUSPECT TAKEN INTO CUSTODY,WITH REPORTS THE KILLER "YELLED SOMETHING" BEFORE HIS MURDEROUS SPREE

GRA:Arab,on the eve of Hanukkah?

(ZH) A person of interest connected to the Brown University shooting was taken into custody early Sunday morning at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode Island, according to law enforcement officials.

Latest:

Providence Police Chief Oscar Perez told reporters he was limited in what he could disclose about the person taken into custody. He said police intend "to coordinate with the prosecutors, to collect evidence, to conduct interviews, and then from there, we'll be able - when it's appropriate and accurate - to share more details."

Providence Mayor Brett Smiley provided an update, noting that seven shooting victims are in stable condition, one is in critical but stable condition, and one has been discharged from the hospital. Two individuals died in the shooting. All victims were students.

Brown University President Christina Paxson confirmed that the shooting unfolded inside a final exam review for a Principles of Economics class.

The shooter then exited the east side of the Barus and Holley building, where the campus meets downtown Providence.

The shooter "yelled something" before the attack .

GRA:That makes it a brown(tan) person on Brown crime, wouldn't it?

mEX POLICE CHIEF ANNOUNCES,"PROVIDENCE RESIDENTS CAN BREATHE EASIER,"AFTER BROWN SHOOTER CAPTURED WITH TWO GUNS IN HIS HOTEL ROOM

("brown" applies to both the shooter and the name of the university?)

(nbc noise/Boston)A person of interest was taken into custody early Sunday in connection with the fatal mass shooting at Brown University, according to Kristy DosReis, a spokesperson for the Providence Police Department.

The person in custody was caught about 3:45 a.m. at a hotel in Coventry, R.I., about 28 miles south of Providence, according to law enforcement sources and Coventry police.

At the time the person was detained, the individual was allegedly in possession of two guns, according to sources.

"We have detained a person of interest," Providence Mayor Brett Smiley said at a Sunday-morning news conference. "We are lifting the shelter-in-place."

During a news conference on Sunday afternoon, Col. Oscar L. Perez, Jr., chief of the Providence Police Department, said the detained individual is in his 20s, but declined to say what connection he has, if any, to Brown University.

Perez declined to comment on a possible motive in the shooting, saying detectives are continuing to collect evidence and execute search warrants.

"We are working with what we have, and, obviously, we have somebody at the police station, that person of interest. And we're going to continue to build that case in order to be able to charge that person," Perez said.

Rhode Island law enforcement authorities said no one else is being sought in the shooting that occurred Saturday on the Ivy League campus and left two people dead and nine others injured, according to officials.

The residents of Providence can "breathe a little easier," Smiley said.

GRA:Not with all the crazy mex, nigs and muzzies in the country and area. It's a "breather" until the next mass shooting--that's all.)

Semester's over. They canceled all classes, all exams, all papers that were due.

Everyone gets an A! But everyone was going to an A anyway. In 2018, Brown was #1 in highest GPA, 3.73. https://ripplematch.com/insights/the-top-15-universities-with-the-highest-average-gpas-4f4b544d

The students in hearing distance of the shooter got an "A"llahu Akbar--not just an "A".

Probably in a muslim cheer from the perp:

"Give me an A,
Give me an L,
Give me another L,
Give me an A,
Give me an H,
Give me a U,

"Give me an A,
Give me a K,
Give me a B,
Give me an A,
Give me an R

"What's that spell?"

It spells at least 2 dead and 9 non-fatally shot.

Back when "America" was America, this didn't happen--not on the near daily basis we see it occurring now at all types and levels of schools.

WHITE GUY BROUGHT IN AS PERP IN BROWN SCHOOL SHOOTING

GRA:There goes my hilarious "brown on Brown crime" headline.

(CNN)• The person of interest detained in connection with yesterday’s deadly shooting at Brown University has been identified as 24-year-old Benjamin Erickson of Wisconsin, multiple law enforcement sources tell CNN.

• Sources said earlier that the person of interest was found with a revolver and a small Glock handgun in his room at a hotel in Coventry, Rhode Island. A CNN crew was at the hotel when law enforcement swarmed the location early this morning.

• The shooting left two students dead and nine others injured at the Ivy League school in Providence. A vigil and community event were held at a local park Sunday evening, where the city’s mayor said residents could come together and “shine a little bit of light.” Classes and exams have been canceled at Brown as the campus reels from the shooting.

Person of interest: Benjamin Erickson, 24 – a decorated Army veteran from Wisconsin – has been identified as a person of interest detained in connection with the shooting, multiple law enforcement sources told CNN. Authorities believe Erickson traveled from Wisconsin to Rhode Island to carry out the shooting, the sources said. No charges have been brought as of Sunday evening, and authorities have not publicly identified the person in custody.

Ongoing investigation: A revolver and a small Glock handgun with a laser sight attached were found in a Hampton Inn hotel room in Coventry, Rhode Island, where authorities traced Erickson and detained him following the attack, sources say. Police spent the day collecting evidence, seizing items and searching locations with help from the FBI and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

GRA: Every once in a while--a shocker. Today, there's TWO.This is one and the Rob Reiner murder is another.
