One thing that gets me about ALL these politicos, on both sides of the aisle, is their age- someone 80 or older grew up in the 1940s and 50s, when America still WAS great, and yet they hate everything about those times! From his cultural values, Trump might as well be from Gen X, not to mention the likes of Biden, Pelosi, and the rest. (I'm younger than them, and I'm still waiting for vaudeville to return!)

Vivek is a seamster who got rich with a pump and dump stock scheme using a drug which was known ineffective. His scheme involved his doctor mother to try to fool investors that the drug was real. Then he dumped it and got out with his profit before the drug was proved bad. AND he wants to bring in more dishonest Indians like his mother. Trump sure is great a picking bad people. Meanwhile what has he done to stop voter fraud, punish those responsible for so many Covid deaths like Fauci and Gates, and like the rest of the Republicans they refuse to fix the corrupt healthcare system.
Actually, Trump's hiring of scum like Vivek and "Kash" makes sense since he's hopelessly tied to the tech industry (for the sake of the almighty stock market), which thrives on the H1b workers. Likewise his nurturing of Musk, one of the biggest grifters ever, who can get away with public drug use and declaring "War" on white people without suffering any repercussions, and ends up as the world's richest man via selling a garbage product that there's little demand for.

Another win for Trump's great hiring record. The picture of "Kash" side-by-side with the "girlfriend" is hilarious- I would have thought the cross-eyed mutt would have a "pajeet" girlfriend, but no, she's a gorgeous white woman around 15 years younger than him! Kissinger used to say "Power is the ultimate aphrodisiac," and he was no doll to look at (though he actually looked fairly dapper at the '75 WS), but the standards have really taken a dive since then. Giving credence to the theory that she may be some sort of spy.

IF there was some credible socially-conservative small-gov pro-freedom person in the running, with some substantive record and stature, who? By that I mean not some well-meaning schlub from the West Podunk town council, or not like (God bless her heart) Kathy what's-her-name who almost got the Pa. Senator nomination), but some up-and-comer who had made his mark as a mayor or DA or state legislator.
But there isn't. Because if that person existed, he would have been all over "maga" media all year sharing his vision, including the magic phrases "immigration moratorium", "spending freeze", and "hiring freeze" that seem to have eluded every GOP elected official. To the point that mainstream media couldn't ignore him or her any longer. To the point that Romneyswamy couldn't ignore him, either.
But there ain't no such. The bench is empty. The cupboard is bare.
And you there in the back who just called out "Jim Jordan", sit down and shut up! Jim Jordan had his chance to be a big star and he fizzled. What has Jim Jordan done? He reaffirmed the empty bench when it came time to choose a Speaker, twice (McCarthy and then McBible). Jim went on to "hold hearings". Cross Jim off the list. He wouldn't have governed like a DeSantis anyway. Just a rerun of DeWine.
So in reliable redstate Ohio, we're stuck with H1-B Visaswamy. No, I'm not thrilled. He seems to have more ideas than most of the brain-dead waste-of-space opportunity-wasting GOP governors of red states. Careful. If he gets knee-capped as an inside job, Ohio could go upside-down like Kentucky or Kansas.
Or South Carolina. Daniel Horowitz gave a huge chunk of time trying to boost Rep. Ralph Norman for guv of SC. Short version: nice guy, right ideas, but doesn't seem up to the job. Doesn't have a Milei chainsaw in his toolbox. Loser incoming! Write off SC for yet ANOTHER four years.
Maybe P.T. will issue a pardon for Patel's girlfriend,freeing her from Patel's dungeon of horrors(spoken metaphorically and otherwise).

I just read that Trump is processing visas and bringing in more legal foreigners than ever and naturalizing foreigners faster (and they will vote against freedom). Trump claims that we don't have smart people and need the H1b job stealers. Trump is selling us out. American graduates are not finding jobs while housing is too expensive. I voted for Trump 3 times--he fooled me--I actually thought he was for the American people, not the tech billionaires. Add in that he is covering up Epstein's crimes and cosying up to killers like Bill Gates and I think Trump will go down as a failed president. Remember all that Golden Age crap--guess he was talking about the big shots--not ordinary Americans. His son-in-law Kushner badly needs to be investigated.
