CHICAGO (WLS) -- Officials have identified the two men who were shot and killed during a jewelry store robbery in Little Village.
The crime happened around 5:49 p.m. Saturday at a jewelry store in the 3800-block of 26th Street, Chicago police said.
An armed suspect entered a business at the location, pretending to be a customer and stole property, police and neighboring businesses said.
After the suspect exited the business, he was in an altercation with two victims. The suspect shot the two men multiple times and drove south on Springfield Avenue in a white SUV, CPD said.
Both victims died at Mt. Sinai Hospital.
On Monday, they were identified as Faustino Alamo Dominguez, 63, and Luis Alamo, 25, of Berwyn, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

They were father and son, and they were trying to protect their store.
Surveillance video shows a man in a Blackhawks hoodie and mask walking up to the jewelry store. Within about 30 seconds, the suspect ran outside with some merchandise from the store as two men chased after him. That's when you see the suspect pull out his gun and shoot both victims.
ABC7 Chicago froze the video there before the shots were fired.
Local business owners said the people responsible for the shooting drove around scoping out the area, going in and out of businesses before walking into the store.
