Killadelphia bLACKIE answers knock on door--regrets it immediately

KNOCK, KNOCK
"WHO DERE?"

"(nbc noise 10) a 49-year-old man was shot to death after police said he answered an early morning knock on the door of his north philadelphia home and someone opened fire. now the search is on for the shooter.

"according to police, the shooting happened just before 5 a.m. on wednesday, aug. 13, 2025, at a home on 3600 north 9th street, right off rising sun avenue.

"police said privately owned security cameras caught a suspect walking down the street, approaching a home, knocking on the door and waiting for someone to open.

"once the man opened the door, police said the suspect started firing. the man had been shot in the chest multiple times and in the right arm.

"police said the man was taken to an area hospital, where he later died at 5:39 a.m.

"shell casings were found both inside and outside the home. the man's family was inside the home sleeping at the time, according to police.

"no arrests have been made so far in this case, police said."

What we(think we)know:

The St. Paul Police Department said officers responded to the 300 block of Edmund Avenue at about 4:15 a.m. for a report of a frog(resident) who was shot.

Officers then found a man/frog lying in the street who was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital, where he later croaked.

No arrests have been announced and no other frogs,pollywogs or toads were found to be frog napped as of this time
