22-year-old negro, Sharmon Davell Eubanks, volunteered to coach grand rapids high school girls basketball; after getting caught nailing one of the girls, a potential life sentence is in his future, for dribbling while committing deviant behavior; negress judge cuts his bail by 2/3rds
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who volunteered for a Grand Rapids high school girls basketball team is in jail, charged with repeatedly sexually abusing a player last year.
Sharmon Davell Eubanks, 22, appeared in court Tuesday on five charges, including three counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a potential life offense.
A Grand Rapids Public Schools spokesman said Eubanks was an athletics volunteer at Ottawa Hills High School(GRA:90% black school)during the 2024-25 school year and passed a background check.
“He never was a coach; he was a volunteer with the girls basketball program at Ottawa Hills High School,” spokesman Luke Stier said.
The investigation got underway in December when the teenage girl’s mother “reported she had heard her daughter … was engaging in a sexual relationship with her high school basketball coach, 22-year-old Sharmon Eubanks,” court records show.
“The allegations were reportedly ongoing and began at the start of the basketball season, which was in or around September of 2024,” a detective wrote in a probable cause affidavit.
“’Based on the text messages located … the relationship continued until the end of November of 2024,’ court records show.
Eubanks initially denied having a sexual relationship with the girl and took a polygraph, which he did not pass, records show. Eventually, he “reluctantly admitted to having a sexual relationship,” court records show.
Three counts of first-degree CSC are for acts that allegedly occurred in a car. Eubanks also is charged with one count of second-degree CSC and one count of accosting children for immoral purposes.
According to court records, the girl told investigators “they engaged in sexual behavior numerous times when Sharmon would give her rides to/from school /practice.”
During a probable cause conference on Tuesday, the defendant’s attorney asked that the $300,000 bond be lowered, telling Grand Rapids District Court Judge Angela Ross that Eubanks was not a flight risk.(GRA:Only to Georgia or Mississippi). The judge reduced bond to $100,000. Eubanks is scheduled to return to court next week.
GRA:I wonder if Angela Ross is a negress judge.I'll check. She sho' enough is. Appointed by the Michigan Supreme Court in 2024 to head up the 61st District Court. That's how we get stuck with these black judges.

We noble men give back to the community, if you know what I mean. Like myself, when the money is not coming in from book sales, grants, and speaking fees and these ice people winters be so damn cold. Volunteerin' can bring its own rewards if you know what I mean.
ReplyDeleteSome girls got WNBA attitude and wan't need no extra coaching. They be easy to pick out and got their own team if you know what I mean.
The rest appreciate me givin' back to the community and if they wanna give back, the court shouldn't be on my court callin' fouls on me if you know what I mean.
