Prosecution has been desperately trying to cover up for network of townies and cops, including the one on whose lawn the dead cop was found in the snow, and the sister who did a g**gle search "Hos long to die in cold". So the drunk girlfriend is a convenient frame-up for the drunk townies and cops, or so they thought.
That's the short story. For the long story, see the Canton Coverup series, Parts 1 through 516 at https://tbdailynews.com/ by Turtleboy who himself did 60 days in jail for witness-something-or-other and who they're trying to put away again.
So this October-surprise-style thing coming out a couple days after the prosecution rested its case for the second time, not surprising at all.
The entire thing is el stinko top to bottom, including the judge "Auntie Bev" who presided over the first trial (mistrial) and again in the current re-mistrial-in-progress. Worse than anything Boss Hogg would have dreamed of orchestrating, and it's happening in in the suburbs of Bahston Mass.
For what it's worth: way back 17 months ago and 245 Canton Coverup Part ### items ago, that same "Grant Smith Ellis" twOOted a series of twOOts about a restraining order hearing targeted at Turtleboy, who then rebutted with the top ten lies in GSE's posts.
The takeaway for non-side-takers is that these recent posts are all carefully timed and should be taken with several giant grains of salt. There's a social media army on the side of the McAlberts (short for the Alberts and the McCabes and the entire townies/cops/state cops complex trying to put Karen Read away for murder). On top of the longtime anti-Turtleboy crowd that has been outraged at Turtleboy all the way back to the days when his blog was about stuff like exposing EBT recipients selling large quantities of discount Similac baby formula through Facebook ads and the annual Ratchet Madness, where readers voted to determine the winners in brackets of anti-cultural train wrecks featured in the previous year's stories. Then he latched on the Karen Read case and the ride got even wilder.
And longtime crime reporter Howie Carr (books about the Whitey Bulger case, expositor of Mass. State Police corruption, etc., "someone referred to me today as 1970s Boston) also agrees that the Read prosecution is a sham and something stinks big-time in Norfolk County.
