N.S.: el paso is a border city neighboring mexico, whose p.d. has for years claimed to be virtually crime-free. Thus, I take such reports with a grain of salt. It could just as well have been an automobile driver, who swept Angel off the road, and into the next world.

There's a huuuge difference between "crime free" and lack of crime reported.

GRA, el paso may well be the nation's capital in unreported crime.
Or in a 100 way tie for first place in that category with NYC,Chicago,Nigadelphia,etc--who all have decided to cut their crime rates manually.

Maybe when your culture advertises something called "Hellfest," you shouldn't be too surprised at anything going on around you. It's like having musical groups named "Poison" and "Garbage"- we're WAY past the End Times by now! ("Hey, did you hear the theme from the new James Bond movie? It's Garbage!")
