ass(ociated) press raises unheard-of bLACK “singer,” Angie Stone, to trailblazer/pioneer status

GRA: ap must be run by blacks.

“montgomery, ala. (ap) — fans [how many, three?] are remembering the voice and songs of trailblazer [sic] Angie Stone after her death at 63 in a weekend crash on an alabama highway as she traveled from a performance.

“the grammy-nominated r&b singer was a member of the all-female hip-hop trio the sequence and known for the hit [sic] song ‘wish I didn’t miss you.’ she found a sweet spot in the early 2000s as neo-soul began to dominate r&b.”

[N.S.: “neo-soul”? Fake news to me.]

“in a recent instagram post, Stone told fans she was excited about upcoming events and ‘getting back in the mix.

“‘a lot of stuff is going on that I don’t want to just let out of the bag just yet,’ she said. ‘but you can see that there’s a big grin on my face.

“the tributes to Stone on social media included one from rap artist MC Hammer, who posted a video featuring Stone’s song ‘brotha,’ writing ‘I can’t tell you how many days this song blessed my soul. r.i.p. Angie Stone.”

“actor [sic] and singer Jennifer Hudson expressed disbelief in a social media post.

“‘what a loss!!! Angie Stone was a true pioneer,’ Hudson wrote.

GRA: Her name has been all over the internet for two days. I finally clicked it, only to find more fake news, describing supposed “talented blacks.”

N.S.: There haven’t been any “pioneering,” “trailblazing” black singers in over 100 years. (Then again, this person was never a singer.) True pioneers were virtually always White, but the fake news and black supremacists refuse to recognize any as such, and condemn them all as “racists,” “sexists,” etc.

They heaped almost as much praise on semi obscure Angie Stone as the legitimately famous and talented Roberta Flack. I'll give Ms. Flack some props for being from an era when black performers were expected to have actual talent and she did come through with some great music. While a "soul singer" it's notable that 2 of her 3 most famous songs were actually written by White songwriters. They would be Killing Me Softly which was written by Lori Lieberman who was inspired to write the song after attending a performance by Don McLean (Vincent Starry Starry Night, American Pie) and The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face which was written by Irish folk songwriter Ewan McColl. Those are songs most people would believe were written by black songwriters because a black woman had the biggest hits with them but they a couple of examples how black music was derived from White musical sources, contradicting the politically correct notion that it was always the other way around.

R&B singer Angie Stone dies in car accident hours before planned performance.

GRA:And hours after getting into her car--more pertinent.

Similar stupid, meaningless headlines from the past:

Betty White died just days before she would have turned 100.

A black in Tampa Bay killed a fellow druggie, just days before he was going to kill someone else.

Kamala Harris lost the presidential election in November, just two months and 15 days before the date she had anticipated becoming president.

Elon Musk reported DOGE had found 65 billion dollars in savings, just weeks after becoming a father for the 14th time.

The proper headline:Angie Stone dies in car accident--PERIOD.
