In the horror movie "Christine" an old guy calls "new car smell" "the second best smell in the world after pussy." Note that there was a spray can product for sale that was supposed to smell like a new car. Real smells are better than imitations. People like the smells of things they like. I love my old dog and that doggy smell is endearing to me although dog groomers like the spray their victims with perfumes.
