jerry pdx Walking through the grocery store I spotted a story displayed prominently on the cover of People magazine about a terrible crime that happened to a young White girl...No, not Eliza Fletcher but a girl named Alicia "Kozak" Kozakiewicz, who was kidnapped as a teen 20 yrs. ago by an internet predator.
He kidnapped and tortured her but thankfully she survived. Terrible story that certainly deserved attention but one has to ask: Why is People dredging up a 20 yr. old story instead of covering one that just happened and resulted in a woman not just getting kidnapped and tortured, but raped and murdered as well. Simple, the name of the perp in the Kozakiewicz case is Scott Tyree and he is a White man which makes it a PC story that doesn't direct attention toward the unending relentless cases of black men murdering White women.
I tried to do some back research to see if People has covered any black on White murders but outside of OJ couldn't find any. Doesn't mean there aren't any, maybe I missed something but they sure covered the hell out of Treyvon, Michael Brown, George Floyd et al...couldn't help but find those stories. I recall hearing once somebody saying People was a magazine for people that can't read but I think it's really a magazine for people that don't want to think. Or can't.
Would they be impressed with the black mayor any better?Who would win an election between Dinkins Jr.(Adams)and John Lindsey Jr.(de Blasio)?
ReplyDeleteThere's a question for you.
Be the way,I'm assuming Lindsey was a liberal--I only remember seeing him on the Dean Martin Roast a couple times.

People Magazine, like the tabloids at the supermarket checkout counter, caters to a readership that includes many blacks--or so they imagine.
